Midas and the golden touch
Midas and the Golden Touch- Midas one day had wished that everything he had touched turned into gold. However, this wish was not a blessing, it was a curse. He woke up one day with his wish granted. At first he loved it. But then after awhile he realized he couldn't eat, or he couldn't live on like this. He couldn't eat everything he touched turned into gold. He no longer wanted the wish.
Moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for. Connection to Modern World: Everyone can probably admit, to a horrible wish?! I know I can. They might wish it one day, but once it comes true you might find out it was the worst mistake of your life. So be careful what you wish for folks. |
This is Midas' Mythology "symbol."
King Midas, he must have girls after him, why? Because hes a King! But King isn't looking for a relationship.
3. Greed Yes, it is really nice to have and get things. But you definitely don't have to be greedy about it, like mostly all the famous rich people. The rich people totally go all out, the over load their wardrobe, have expensive house they barely even use, and rub in to people's faces that how much money they have, and how they spend it. They like to buy (a) EXPENSIVE car and drive it around to show it off. They also buy a million dollar house that they only use probably a couple rooms of the house. They waste a lot of things. Just think once they become dying down from being famous they will still have some money but once that money is running out, the famous person tries coming back out into the famous world to regain all their money. Then do it all over again.. |
